Good food. Bad service. They deliver, but will act entirely inconvenienced every time. One young man delivered and told me at the door it was a bad time to order and to order earlier (ordered at 6pm). I used to frequent this place often, both dine in, take out and delivery but they clearly do not want the business if not on their terms. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

The best avocado curry in the world. Had with scallops last time. Let me tell you this, you don't have to search for the avocado or the scallops, you just have to figure out how you will be able to eat every bite of this glorious meal.

Delicious food and awesome atmosphere. I used to get delivery when we lived in west linn. The sweetest people worked there and still do. Sometimes I expect a decrease in quality over time but this place seemed even better after a few years. My two kids were comfortable and loved the pad Thai and the creamy chicken salad.

We get take out from here often and have also eaten in; the atmosphere is much nicer than many of the more 'divey' places. Portions are decent but not as large as some places. I really enjoy their curries and veggies always taste fresh and not over cooked (as seems to happen sometimes at other places). It's getting four instead of 5 stars because the service is hit or miss - sometimes very friendly but others not as much.

Thai Lemon is my go-to. I love the tom yum soup and the yum beef salad. I wish they could give the option of a smaller bowl of soup or a smaller portion of yum beef salad because I like to get the 2 together but the 2 is paid for as 2 separate meals. That's paying about $25 for a soup & salad. I wish I could order the soup with a side yum beef salad. I also really enjoy the beef spicy basil. I love consistency in restaurants and they have proven themselves many times. A little pricey for Thai food but it is West Linn. I have never gotten anything i didn't like and the service is always amazing. Highly recommended!!

Yum! Food is excellent! I've had the pad Thai, stir fry veggies and a couple of rice dishes. Oh, and the coconut ice cream. All very good ! Enjoy watching the videos of Thailand while I eat and I love the heart- shaped rice idea. Great place in downtown west linn!

Best Thai in west linn. Service is great, food is fabulous and the atmosphere is totally awesome. Would recommend this for anyone who wants some really good Thai food.

What a great selection on the menu and staff is helpful. It wasn't as spicy as I had hoped. The chicken was way overdone. They have done some nice upgrades to the furniture. Decore is relaxing and provides a fine dining atmosphere.

After two tries now at Thai Lemon, I can say the place is just fine. CONSISTENCY: As other Yelpers appeared to have noticed, Thai Lemon has a bit of a consistency problem. While the food was good both times I visited, it was better the first time. Perhaps more importantly, it was not what I expected the second go around. Each time my boyfriend and I shared a curry dish and spicy basil chicken. The first time the curry was a little too spicy, and the second time it wasn't spicy at all. The spicy basil chicken had a great sauce the first time, but the second time it was much too sweet. STANDOUTS: -The service. Both times we found all the servers to be attentive, kind, and professional. -The egg rolls. This is actually a spring roll (which I prefer), but they were delicious. -The curry. Even after tasting some friends' dishes, the curry always was the best. I would just specify how spicy you want it. I also like the curry with flatbread combo. The flatbread is more like an Asian rice cake than the fluffy bread I had in mind, but it was quite good and went well with the curry. VERDICT: If I were craving curry I would go here again, but I've had better and more consistent Thai at other joints downtown

The food was very good, a little pricey for what you get, but the reason for the 3 star review was the arrogant waitress we had, maybe just a bad night, but service could have been better.

I've gotten food at Thai Lemon twice now. The first was a coconut curry seafood soup. Very good! Of course, one good trip can be a fluke so a couple weeks later I figured I'd try dinner. I got pineapple fried rice with chicken, spicy. It was one of the best examples of excellent, fresh Thai food I've had in he last 7-8 years. The flavors were borderline artistic and the ingredients were extra fresh. All in all it was much better than I expected.

Love the staff, love the food! We come here and take out ALL THE TIME. I once came in with 2 three year olds and myself, a little nervous to dine in. The staff was amazing-they love kids and were so accommodating. I'll never stop coming here. Love their pad Thai, basil chicken, all their curries, and their tom kha.

THIS PLACE! I think I've been here maybe 4 or 5 times and every time the food is excellent. All of the curries are great and the wonton soup was lovely. There are some great lunch deals as well. I just want to try everything on the menu, yum! :)

Got the avocado curry. Massive chunks of avocado. Well worth the $14 price. Friendly service and great tasting food. I'd probably knock it to a 4.5 due to the tiny salad rolls, but rounding up due to the curry.

Simple atmosphere, delicious food. Had the Pad Ke Mao and the Peanut Sauce along with the potstickers. Always very yummy! Reasonable prices, $43 for an appetizer, two entrees and two glasses of wine. Will come back for sure.

Love this place! Always great food and friendly service. I make it a point to come here whenever I'm in West Linn.

I eat here at least 2-3 times per week. It simply is the best Thai food in the West Linn area in my opinion, and having just returned from Chiang Mai I have some reference points. The dishes are always authentic and served hot, the vegetables are fresh and crisp and the sauces aren't sweetened up like at some of the other Thai restaurants in the area. I usually get one of the stir fry dishes or a curry but have dabbled with prawn and fish dishes, and it is always good. One reason for the excellence is this is one of the few Thai restaurants in the area where the owner, cooks and wait staff are actually Thai, and they are always pleasant and polite. There is a nice ambiance inside, that seems similar to the restaurants I have eaten at in Thailand. Nice music, dark wood and some Buddha's and other Thai decorations. Yes, they usually only have 1-2 servers and they can get busy, but that doesn't bother me. I come here to enjoy a nice, leisurely meal several times a week and on that point Thai Lemon delivers.

This place was way under-rated based on our experience. I ordered the yellow curry and it was the most authentic and best tasting yellow curry I have ever had. I struggle to understand how this place has received poor reviews.

Our first experience a few months ago was positive however we were the only ones in the restaurant. Tonight the restaurant was quite busy and the staff was very confused and overwhelmed. After we were seated it took quite some time for someone to get back to us. Out salad rolls did not appear to be overly fresh and lacked the crisp taste that you usually get. We had to ask for our tea three times and were almost finished with our dinner by the time we got it. We ordered "Spicy Basil" stir fry and it was bland and tasteless. We ordered Chicken Panang Curry and she brought us a tofu Curry. We told her the entrees were wrong and she dismissed it but did replace it. When we got the final bill we noticed she had written them down wrong. Sounds like poor service is common here.

Customer Service with a CAPITAL "C" is what this place is all about. Our server was darling -- kind, sweet, and informative. The food was great, fresh, and delish. I ordered the usual suspects -- Salad Rolls with peanut sauce and the boys mixed it up and ordered spicy garlic chicken wings -- there wasn't much conversation, but lots of lip smackin goodness. My son ordered his first ever Thai Iced Tea -- being a former smoker when I feel like cheating I will take a sip of someone else's -- the aftertaste is one of tobacco which you won't understand unless you are a smoker. While I don't miss smoking at all, I do miss that aftertaste -- anyhow, it was awesome. He loved it -- I hope this doesn't propel him into being a smoker! Lemon chicken with Peanut sauce was the main attraction for me -- see the trend in peanut sauce? I must write an "Ode to peanut sauce" sometime -- I pretty much would eat it on everything. Anyhow this peanut sauce was stellar -- LOVE.IT! The bill was a bout 40 bucks -- three dishes, two appetizers, and a Thai Iced tea. Oh and they serve water in mason jars -- now how adorable is that?? We are surely going back. Oh and the coconut ice cream -- to die for! Party in your mouth ya'll

The food was amazing, but our to go order was around 10-15 minutes late and the restaurant wasn't busy inside. I'd love to eat here again, but maybe try sit down instead of take out.

I have never dined in here, but I have down take out now quite a bit. I have had two different noodle dishes. One being a traditional pad thai and the other a spicy different kind of noodle concoction, both very delicious. I most recently ordered a garlic beef dish and I have to say I would not order that again. My husband got the coconut curry last time and it was amazing. As for the apps, we have yet to order something's that we did not like. Spring rolls, coconut shrimp, wontons, all have been very good. Now the people who work here, so sweet. I remember a few months ago, I was 8 months pregnant and accidentally dropped my keys on the ground as I was paying for my take out. The young man came all away around from his side to get them for me as I was signing my receipt. I thought that was so nice as I was just about to bend over to get them. Very thoughtful.

Food tastes fine but is pretty overpriced. Additionally, they really really cheap out on the meat on meat dishes and I'm the type of guy that doesn't like too much meat, I usually ask for less meat on sandwiches. Appetizers are very good and nicely priced.

Great family business! Prompt service, and the food (in this case crispy chicken basil) was delicious. Will definitely go back.

They have new menus and some outdoor seating it looks like. Prices have been raised a little bit and the portions have gotten a little smaller. Still good food but not that great deal that it once was.

We order take out from here constantly because their Thai is delicious. It's our favorite place and our friends agree. Don't both dining in unless you have no where else to be. The service is not good and very slow. Every time we have dined it we have regretted it because of the ridiculous wait time. I would still order take out any day though!

Phenomenal restaurant! I can say so much about this restaurant but I'll keep it short. This place has the food, the service, the ambience, and the most amazing and authentic Thai food in West linn. Would recommend to anyone looking for a delicious lunch or dinner.

I feel like this business has gone downhill. Food doesn't taste nearly as good as it did months ago, and we didn't finish the last take-out order we took home. Where oh where is a good Thai restaurant in West Linn?? I would say try Oodles of Noodles.

I've been here twice, once with a group and once with just my wife. The service is lackluster. With the group I wrote this off to the difficulty of one server dealing with a dozen people; with my wife and myself, with one other couple in the restaurant, it was just poor service. The food is tasty, not overly hot in spice or temperature, which may not be a good thing. As another reviewer noted, the crude 2-by-4 tables are clumsy at best - I banged my knee hard and was in some pain, so perhaps that's why I didn't enjoy lunch. Also, again as another reviewer noted, the place is DIRTY. Smears on the windows, food crumbs in the table cracks and on the window sill, grunge on the salt shaker, even the menu spotted. If you're eating Thai food from a street vendor in Bangkok, a little grunge comes with the territory. It's not what I expect in West Linn.

New to West Linn and I love Thai food so thought it would be a good choice for the family. I've heard good things about Thai Lemon so I assume we got them on a bad night. There was only one waiter for the entire establishment. When we arrived there were dirty tables and it took a while to get our water/menus. Menus with loose pages, pages, missing and dirty. Once we were able to order our food it took FOREVER for it to arrive. At least 45 minutes. When it did arrive, it was spaced so far apart we were all done eating at different times. I got my food first, then my son. We waited another 8 minutes until my twin daughters (9 years old) got there's. My other son, got served last, we were all ready finished by then. I asked if they were short-staffed and I was told "no" but the waiter did say that the kitchen was exceptionally slow, "the food is coming out slow as snails" and he couldn't figure out why. When I needed additional plates and a fork, I got up and got them myself. I felt for the young waiter, it was clear he was overwhelmed. The food was OK; I wont go back again based on that experience.

I have tried Lemon Thai several times and had mixed feelings, so I held off on writing a review. I think I have been there enough times to be fair now. The place just needs help. I have no complaints about the quality of the food but nobody there seems to know how to run a restaurant. So in fairness I will break my review into food and service and you can decided for yourself whether one is worth the other. Food is a solid four star. My food is always hot and seems fresh, not pre made and waiting to be heated up. I have tried several appetizers and a different main dish each time and was not unhappy with any of them. Nothing really blew my socks off, or was so good I couldn't go there and not get it, but it was all good enough order again. Side note, don't expect a refill on your soda because they get their soda out of cans and will charge you for another soda if you want a refill. Service is sketchy. Everything feels like it is disorganized and fly by the seat of their pants. All three times I have been here, there is a distinct lack of order and good service. My waiter is usually also the cashier, host/hostess, the table busser, and the list goes on. My order last night was written on scrap paper he had in his pocket. This led to my order not being put in correctly, which is a common theme here. One of my appetizers came out after two of the main dishes had been brought out and 5 min before the last dish came out. We had to ask for plates for the appetizers, which we never got, he just brought us two of the three main dishes immediately after the app. One table left because they sat unserved for so long. We overheard serval other tables experience the same lack of decent service. One 'to go' customer returned twenty minutes after ordering only to discover the one person working the front forgot to turn in the scrap of paper with his order on it and his order wasn't even started. So decide for yourself. We got our food and it was good. For some people a casual lunch or dinner is not hugely affected by sketchy service, as long as they get their food and it is decent. For those of you who want service as part of the experience or don't have the patience for some of these hang ups, just save yourself the grief and try one of the other several restaurants on this strip in West Linn

The place is well decorated, smaller, comfortable. The menu is extensive and creative. There are several things on there that I have not seen before and I go to a lot of Thai places. The food wasn't stellar. I ordered a specialty of the house, flatbread with curry. The flatbread was soggy with grease. I asked for the panang curry to be "Thai Medium" and I got "US mild", very disappointing. My wife tried the crab fried rice based on a recommendation from an earlier reviewer and wasn't impressed, she would have preferred pineapple fried rice. My son ordered a garlic pork dish and asked for it to be made "hot" - he liked it which is saying a lot, he rarely finds food served spicy enough for his taste. My daughter ordered a chicken, veggie dish with peanut sauce. Her food was not brought to the table until after everyone else was more than half finished with theirs. The food looked like steamed chicken and veggies with a side of peanut sauce which seemed very strange to me. The peanut sauce had a good taste but nothing particularly special. Our friend had the chicken phad thai and while it wouldn't be fair to say it was "bad", it wasn't particularly "good". The portion sizes were generous but the final summary - no one wanted to take any of the leftovers home.

Great food. Great lunch prices. Fantastic service. Friendly smiling staff. My daughter just kept exclaiming how "deeeelicious" the food was. :) We will be back!

Great service and nice atmosphere. I can't say enough about the attentiveness of our waiter. The three dishes that we ordered were very good. Follow-up: During our second and third visit we had a different waiter and things were a bit chaotic.

I am orginially from San Francisco and have been to some amazing Thai food places. Therefore, when I moved to Portland, I was worried I wouldn't find any Thai place that is comparable. However, this cute little Thai restaurant really blew me away! I love their curry dishes, and most of all, their crab fried rice. Yummy!! I catch myself dreaming of their food there. This is now my favorite Thai restaurant if not my favorite restaurant in Portland!

My family and I went here for my birthday dinner, and I have to say I ate the best meal ever here and had the best service! Although extremely busy, the waitress literally ran to our table to give us amazing drinks, answer my questions about the menu, and even change a mis-order! I was highly impressed with all of the smiling staff. The food was amazing, and I found a new favorite for eating clean! Ordered the garlic chicken and broccoli. Out of this world! Loved it. Can't wait to go back!

The food and service is consistently great. One dish may be served a minute later than the others only due to the fact that they value hot food, which we appreciate. We have never had any problems with service, but normally come in on a Saturday night which is always adequately staffed. It would be nice if they added Drunken Noodles to the menu, my SIL's favorite. We were thrilled to get the family together and were surprised how quick we received the food. The appetizers, main meals and even the soup #4 was amazing. If you value good food and good service, this is your place.

Really good food. Definitely stop there again. Service was OK. No particularly attentative or anything but helpful with the menu.

Was solid, only bad thing was a bit of inconsistency on the Pad Thai. We ordered four orders and they all came out a little different tasting. One a little "tangier" than the others. Service was solid and fried rice were awesome!

We have eaten at this location many times over the past couple of years. With the new name change I'm assuming there is new ownership. The good news is that I think the food has actually improved. Plus, they now deliver!

We had high hopes and enjoy trying the restaurants in old town Willamette. The good news: the staff was very friendly and the place was clean. The bad news: the waiter was wearing a lot of cologne, the food just wasn't seasoned right, too heavy in some dishes, not enough in the others. The vegetables were not fresh and in fact, I tasted a mold- like flavor in one of the wontons in the appetizer. Everything was Luke warm, even the tea. Sorry, we won't be back.
